Dazzle Studios
Dazzle Studios was started in New Orleans in 2000 by native New York artist, Susan Manley. Inspiration for the stained glass jewelry came from a trip to Italy, and the many beautiful stained glass pieces seen around the city of New Orleans. The work was first displayed and sold in Jackson Square, in the New Orleans French Quarter. Many of the jewelry designs have evolved over the years with the incorporation of glass from a variety of sources including Mexico , the United States and Italy. These new materials have enabled to Susan to explore a larger palette of textures and colors.
After leaving New Orleans , Dazzle Studio's work has been featured in a wide variety of art shows all over the East Coast and Midwestern United States. Susan currently lives and works in New Jersey. She has studied fine arts at Hunter College and the School of Visual Arts , both in NYC.
Tracye Chin Mueller's Midnight Madness
Tracye graduated from Rhode Island School of Design in 1984 as a graphics major. After her children were born and computers became the tool of designers, Tracye felt a need to continue creating with three dimensional, hands-on materials and not computers. That's when she discovered she loved working with wire and mosaics. While raising her children, she found she could only work during the wee hours of the night, and that's how her business, Midnight Madness, got started. Each of Tracye's pieces is handcrafted in her home studio in Chester, Connecticut.
Irene Neal's IN Jewelry
Artist Irene Neal creates each piece of her unique IN Jewelry with a conscious effort of saving the ocean. Fishing lines and plastics that are dumped or lost at sea, causing premature deaths to marine animals, are the main components of these individually handcrafted miniature sculptures.
